Keep Franklin County Beautiful (KFCB) is a small environmental non-profit organization working to promote recycling and litter awareness in Franklin County . KFCB started as a litter prevention initiative under the Franklin County Board of Commissioners in 1982. In 1987, KFCB became a certified Keep America Beautiful affiliate. In 1989, KFCB received non-profit status and has been working to improve Franklin County ever since.
Mission Statement
Keep Franklin County Beautiful’s mission is to challenge people to practice environmental responsibility, by promoting their involvement to keep the place where they work, live, and play clean and beautiful.
Action Statement
To empower citizen involvement, Keep Franklin County Beautiful will provide direction and help promote projects involving environmental education, litter prevention, beautification, waste reduction, and recycling.
