KFCB Mini-Grant Program 2005
Mini Grant General Guidelines:
KFCB will only give out 14 grants for up to $1,000 a piece. Grants will be given out on a first come, first served basis. Pre-proposals will only be accepted through March 15, 2005. Once all 14 grants have been awarded for 2005 or the pre-proposal deadline has been met, new applicants will have to wait to apply for the next round in 2006.
KFCB will only accept proposals online through the provided pre-proposal sheet.
KFCB will not fund duplicate projects that were completed during the 2002-2003 school year or the 2003-2004 school year. We will only be accepting proposals for new and innovative project ideas. Please refer to the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 mini grant books.
The maximum amount of money that can be applied for is $1000.
The proposed projects must involve no fewer than 10 participants.
Please refer to the Items Not Approved List, before completing your pre-proposal.
All projects must be completed by December 5, 2005, unless a written extension has been received by November 15, 2005.

Projects that KFCB will accept proposals for:
Recycling, composting, waste reduction, and habitat restoration (must have a
strong educational outreach component)
Beautification (must have a strong educational outreach component, must be native perennials, trees and shrubs only)
Mini Grant Pre-proposal Guidelines:
Please fill out all information on the pre-proposal sheet below. Only pre-proposals that have been fully completed will be considered.
KFCB will notify you within 10 business days on whether your pre-proposal has been chosen to submit a full grant proposal .
Upon acceptance, once we receive your full grant proposal it will be scored through the Mini Grant Evaluation Sheet . The KFCB Education Committee will make all final decisions. You will be notified within 20 business days, from receiving the full proposal on whether or not your grant will be funded.
